Christian Broadcasting of Yakima is a Christ Centered ministry. All programming must give glory to Almighty God, lift up Jesus Christ as the only incarnate Son of God, and use the Holy Bible as the only basis for religious instruction.
It all started with the vision of Arrel & Norma Griffith for a local Christian television station in the Yakima Valley. In 1979, Griffith’s dream became a reality with the establishment of Christian Broadcasting of Yakima (CBYtv). From its very conception, CBYtv has provided a rich legacy of quality Christian programming for our valley.
Today Arrel’s dream lives on as the CBYtv Board and Staff reach toward the prize of producing Biblically sound, culturally relevant programming with the uncompromising message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The station provides three locally produced programs, giving our viewers an excellent variety of program choices.
